We left Slovenia the morning of September 28, hiring a shuttle to take us to Zagreb, Croatia. In Zagreb, we rented a car - a Ford Focus, and drove to our next accommodation, Vila Kristina, in Rovinj. Rovinj is in Istria, a large peninsula on the Adriatic Sea, shared by three countries: Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy. Rovinj is located right on the shore of the Adriatic Sea. ( See map.)
