Climbing into the van

Montenegro is a nation just south of Croatia - and Dubrovnik where we were staying in the Plaza Apartment. We had signed up for a guided one day tour of Montenegro on October 21st. Of course, we couldn't see the whole country in a day so we settled for a trip to Kotor and Budva, which not only were good targets to visit, but contained interesting places on the way to and from Dubrovnik.

A church and a Pizzeria

In case you didn't see the Pizzeria sign in my photo above, I thought I'd include Lynda's shot of the same church. In Lynda's shot the sign on the restaurant "roof" is clearer, although to really see it, you need to view the large version of either photo. (I like my version better because it makes the Pizzeria look like it's right in front of the church.)

Time to say good bye to Montenegro

This is the end of this blog. We returned to Dubrovnik that evening. flew to Barcelona the next day, and then took a transatlantic cruise on the Liberty of the Seas back to Florida. I am running out of time so I don't plan to write a blog of our return trip. If, however, I get some spare time - Hah, ha, ha (LOL to al you youngsters) - I'll consider adding one more page and will e-mail the same people who received the original URL. My advice: don't hold your breath.
